Try to imagine…
You’re in the sixties. You enter “Tiffany” just after Audrey Hepburn. The music you hear is not Burt Bacharach or Henry Mancini, but Warm Morning. You feel the difference but it’s ok.
Another scenery. You’re in Norway, in Bergen. You’ve just watched the fishing boats coming back from the fjords. You find a little warm bar with a stage on which they’re not playing “Kings of convenience” but Warm Morning. You feel the difference, but even in this case it’s ok.
All of this just to give you an idea about the atmosphere of “Feather”. It has this peculiarity: it’s not only a record to listen to or analyse. You just have to enjoy it, when you need to relax.
“Feather” is a very homogeneous album, but varied at the same time: the sound is very definite and it follows a precise musical line. The title-track is totally different from “Disconnected”, but you understand that both were born from the same mind.
This is simply a record to use, like a perfume, like a painting, like a lamp or like pink curtains on the windows.
