The acoustic and symphonic sounds are the pivot around which “Warm Morning” plays. We have various influences, from the psych folk of the sixties, the great pop music of Burt Bacharach and the Carpenters, the acid sounds of Brazilian tropicalia as well as the sweet sound of bossa nova, but also the instrumental music for sound-tracks of conductors like “Danny Elfman” and “Ennio Morricone”.
. Piacenza seems to be a great place for sixties inspiration bands…is there any contact and inter-exchange between the musicians in your town?
. Yes, Piacenza has a solid “vintage-underground” tradition, thanks to bands like Not Moving, Hermits, Link Quartet and Wicked Minds, very known not only in Italy but all over Europe. Our best friends are The Temponauts and The Rookies.
