They come from Piacenza, they are brothers, they are called Warm Morning, like the brand name of a wood burning stove. And their music really warms the heart.
“Feather”, their album, is a love declaration to many things: to the sweet and dreamy sounds of “Kings of convenience”, and to the American folk tradition.
The songs are thin but full-bodied at the same time, the acoustic guitars play together with strings, banjo and brass and the sounds bring you back to the past, making you fly far with imagination.
If you listen to songs like “Diamond lies” with it’s taste like “Badly drawn boy” or the jazzy groove of “Party’s over”, you just can relax and…have a good journey.
