Warm Morning

07. The Ballad And A Tale

I wake up in the morning
when her dream is at the end
The rabbit and the dormouse
keep on sleeping in my bed

The bees and the seeds are flying lazily in the wind
The gentle singing of the birds is spreading through the air

Breeze from the ocean and music fills the air…blue clouds are coming down
I lie beneath this old cherry tree like a king without his crown

A minstrel and his story
as an echo inside my head
Ghostly songs are growing
and he starts his funny dance

He tells me about the secret those who spy in the wood at night
A chill, my fear is crawling and I hope I’ve heard a lie

I can’t believe things turn out this way…music is far by now
All by myself and everywhere around my breath is the only sound

I wake up in the morning
when the bell begins to chime
Now the shadows of the forest
are hiding something fine

The petals of the roses still remind me my beloved
The blades of grass are weaving by the music of the gnomes
